People throwing a hissy fit about the DRM are just bandwagon riding faggots not really the problem is that its a hassle. The lazier u can be the better
No, a hassle is installing spore more than 3 times

That's out of context. If there is a need to install more than 3 times, then that is a hassle caused by other reasons outside of the 3 install restriction. The fact is that you have to call them for further activations furthers the annoyance that was caused by having to reinstall.

Alright, you win.. I have no idea why I forgot that a 3 minute phone call was enough to elicit Remorseless's wrath
It's an anti-piracy method, and there's no reason for the whine-fest it's receiving on the net right now. I'd much rather have to call to verify I'm the actual owner than have to buy 2 copies of spore to have it on two computers

but it's also not the companies fault for you having to reinstall the game more then 3 times...it's eithers yours, for deleting it, then feeling the need to replay it multiple times (which is why i don't delete games from my HD)...another comapies fault for making shitty parts that make your comp die...or again, your fault, for using said shitty companies shitty parts ^^
i mean...i semi get the reason some people are upset or whatever...but honestly...it shouldn't effect 99% of the people who actually want to play the game...well...aslong as those people don't count on pircay to play it

heh largely my fault lol i get annoyed when ppl talk about one then then switch topics to use as defense =/ KINDA LIKE WHEN YOU USE MOOT.
but yea i can see where ur coming from but players shouldnt have to resort to further frustration in calling when they just want to play the game -_-
(ps. my current computer isnt a mess :O iv reinstalled WoW only once on this thing and that was cus i quit for 4 months)

I think it's fucking idiotic personally that you have an install limit on something you paid for
this ain't going to work, really who wants to deal with thier shitty tech support because you had computer problems

The thing is... that 3 minute phone call turns into 30 mins. I don't blame them for doing something about piracy, but they went about it completely wrong.

to quit WoW without being tempted to go back:
Delete the game... give ur CDs away.
The download + install time drives you away from it

I called to get my wow email changed and it was about 4 minutes total 8 PM on a weekend.
I have no idea what maxis' support is like, but I haven't had a "3 minute phone call turn into 30 mins" since I used to have to call for tech support on windows 98

Fair enough. I've just had bad experiences with trying to contact people to get the right things done in the past. All it takes is one retard to pick up the phone who can't spell his or her name correctly and then you need to deal with getting someone who can actually do what you need before you can even get anything accomplished.

even dispite all this negative feed back about what EA is going, or maybe to spite all the feedback...i went and actually got spore
i have to say, the game is hella fun...the creature creater as you go is fucking awesome...the pure amount of things you can do is amazing...the interface is a bit hard to get used to at first mainly becuase there is just so much that you can do with it...but once you've messed with it a few times you pick it up pretty quickly...and i have to give it to some of thsoe sporn guys...it's pretty impressive what they were actually able to pull off lol
as far as gameplay goes...really fun and addicting...even at the cellular stage (the games most basic) there is a good amount to do...but the game really takes off at the creature stage when you can start interacting with other species and such...either allieing yourself with them or killing them off (i choose to kill everything in sight )...i just got into the tribe stage which is more of the true "SIM" type setup...it adds even more options and things to do which is slightly overwhelming atm...but maybe becuase i never really played a SIM game before...we'll see how it goes when i actually put more time into it
overall...great game thus far...definitly getting a bad rep over this whole "3 install" crap...and seriously...you're retarded if you don't get the game because of it...you'll be missing out on a lot of fun...
