The Blood Queen, is drained...

It took every attempt that we had but Stalio finally figure out how to bite people and scored us the kill (sorry Stalio, had to be done lol <3)! Very cool fight as it introduces a new mechanic that we've never seen. Definitely added a new layer of complexity to overcome which was a very nice change of pace. So far, both of the wing-end bosses have proven to be worth their "status". Next up is a pair of dragons and then the big boss man himself!

Great news everyone! Professor Putricide is dead!

Finally! A good fight worth a news post! Really well designed encounter and the fact that we actually had to try was a nice change from what the rest of ICC has offered so far. Gratz to everyone on the kill! The Blood wing is next up and I've heard that it will really bite! Get it...?

The journey to the Lich King has begun!
Last night Remorseless took it's first venture into the Icecrown Citadel! We quickly put down the first four encounters of the instance. I didn't bother taking any boss kill shots since I don't think any guild will really have a problem with them. We'll wait until we hit some of the more difficult bosses before we start stroking the epeen.

As far as the instance itself goes, it was pretty nice. It's really cool looking and the lore inside the instane is great. Trash was a breeze and we just AoE'd it all down. The bosses are a good mix of encounter design at the moment but personally I found them a bit too easy. Then again, this was the enternce to the zone so that probably isn't such a bad thing. However, once the heroic encounters open up I can see some massive challenges in store for us.

Now we just have to wait another 4 weeks until the next wing opens up. Ah well, need some saronite farm time anyway!

Heroic Anub'arak defeated! Server #2, US #227, World #507!

I don't even know where to start! This is a HUGE kill for Remorseless! This secures us the #2 position on the server even against guilds who raid twice as much as we do and guilds who were on Anub months before us! WoWProgress.com hasn't updated yet but we're looking at approximately the US #250ish and world #500 "Mad Skill" kill!

[Update] WoWprogress.com has finally updated with our correct standings! Our "Tribute to Mad Skill" was the server 2nd, US 227th, and World 507th kill! Unbelievable accomplishment from a 2 day a week guild. Now if only I could find that guy who said, "you can't progress on a 2 day a week schedule." I'd like to see how far his foot is in his mouth!

As lame as it sounds, I can't even express how proud I am of what we've accomplished as a guild. This was huge for all of us. We put forth the time and effort and we did something amazing. A big congratulations goes out to every guild member who contributed to this achievement! This truly goes back to our guild motto, "we work smarter, not harder." That couldn't be more true here.

Gratz again to everyone on this kill. Another big milestone in Remorseless history! Three years and we're still running strong and rounding the top of the server ranks!

The secret to Heroic Anub'arak!!

The secret is: Beetle Bagger! Well, not really, but it gives me an excuse to post some updates on how our progression has been going!

The last couple raids have just been awesome! Everyone is really coming together and working hard to figure out this fight. We have multiple discussions going that are looking at every aspect of the fight. We've made a lot of great progress in our raid nights with our best attempts thus far being in the 15-20% range. Our focus now is phase 3 and we should hopefully be seeing a first kill very shortly! We're all really excited about this so keep checking back for that all important kill shot!
